- Windowsill: the largest pumpkin you can use is the sill depth minus 1 in (2.5 cm).
- Balcony rail: the top of the rail must be under 2.5 in (6.4 cm) wide for the hook-on planter. Inside of the rail only.
- Under the bed: 6.5 in (16.5 cm) of clearance for the storage box that holds the kit on November 1.
