About Small Space Magic
Practical layouts for small rooms: how to fit a bed, a desk or a sofa into a few square metres and keep a walkway. Posts start on Instagram; this site has the plans and the pieces.
How the floor plans are made
Every plan is drawn by code, to scale, in centimetres. Rooms are example sizes. IKEA pieces use the footprint from the IKEA listing; other pieces are drawn at a typical size and labelled that way. Walkway numbers are computed from the drawing, not typed in.
How products are picked and priced
- IKEA: the official ikea.com US price, fetched from IKEA's own site with the date it was checked (last check 2026-10-21). Plain links, no commission. A product that cannot be found on the check day is not shown.
- Amazon: every product was opened on amazon.com and its listing title saved (last check 2026-10-19). Links are affiliate links. We show no Amazon prices because they change.
- Order follows the layout (main piece first) or price. Commission is never used for ordering.
